Absolutely brilliant experience with Roadtrain HGV Centre. The instructors are top class – very professional, patient, and actually make learning enjoyable instead of stressful.
Big shout-out to Darren, my instructor – legend! 🙌 Explains everything clearly, keeps you calm, and has great banter. He knows exactly when to be serious and when to have a laugh, which really helps confidence on the road.
Also… sincere apologies to the mini car at the roundabout 😅 It was a learning moment, and Darren handled it like a pro
If you want proper training, great instructors, and a good laugh while learning, this is the place. I’d 100% recommend Roadtrain to anyone thinking about HGV training.

From start to finish the experience here was amazing. I was booked in to do my C+E and CPC around my work days which was brilliant. The whole team is fun to be around and I cannot praise Michael enough on his training ..He was critical when he needed to be and got me a first time pass with only 2 minors. Couldnt have asked for a better trainer. Thanks Roadtrain and BIG thanks to Michael for the amazing coaching on the road.
Road train were exceptional from beginning to end in helping me pass my LGV driving. Chris my instructor was friendly, very knowledgable and helpful all week, definitely helped ease the nerves and guide me to my test. All credit to him and roadtrain. Would definitely recommend.
Just completed my C2 with Roadtrain through the ECFRS so thought I would take the time to say thank you and say how brilliant they have been. Great lessons that focuses on ensuring they get the best out of their students and all with a friendly face. Big thank you to Chris, your a top man.
